On Sunday afternoon, we arrived in Florence. We only had a few hours to see as much of the city as we could, as we were staying in a small town in the region of Tuscany for the next two nights.
We decided what better way to explore Florence than to go to an art museum! The museum that we chose was called Uffizi, and it is famous as it housed artists work such as, Leonardo Di Vinci, Michaelangelo, and Sandro Botticelli.
We were not allowed to take photos, but some of the famous works that I recognized were these paintings:
It was a very old and beautiful museum, and the works of art were fantastic. Some blew me away with how brilliant the colours were and how realistic like some of the images were.
After the museum, we walked around the city for a few hours admiring its beauty.
Mmmmm that coconut gelato sounds amazing!
